Policy Advocacy
ROI Staff contribute to a wide range of tribal and statewide committees, taskforces, and groups to ensure that our organization’s policies, and our advocacy efforts are influential and provide pertinent information that supports constructive movement, and education. Through hard work, we demonstrate integrity and compassion in all aspects, encouraging inclusion, providing equal access to opportunities, and resources to people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized. We inform research and policy agendas, coordinate with other Coalitions, and provide training and technical assistance to improve violence prevention and intervention efforts across our service area.
The following are the tribal and statewide committees, taskforces and groups that ROI currently sits on:
- Indigenous Peoples Toolkit Work Group
- RSP BR Coalition Curriculum Focus Group
Community Support
Our community is the foundation of our mission at ROI. We support local efforts to bring awareness to domestic violence, sexual assault, and community issues as well as supporting wellness initiatives and causes in our communities by participating in walks and events.
Hosting and participating in community events that bring awareness to issues plaguing our community while offering a place of acceptance to initiate healing.
We aim to support any positive, empowering movement in our community. Please contact us today if you have an upcoming event that ROI can support.
